Application Procedures for Returning Students
Families must complete a St. Edmund Registration Form and provide the following information.

• Completed Billing Form (Page 3 of Registration Packet)
• Post-dated check for June Tuition and Book Fees
• Signed Church Parish Certificate from church pastor on page 4 of registration packet or payment of Out-Of-Parish fee
• Signed Receipt of Student Handbook which includes permission for drug testing (grades 6-12) located on page 4 of the registration packet.

Families also must provide payment of $24 Diocesan tax per student. (Assessed by the Diocese of Lafayette for Record Keeping) PLUS payment of Registration Fees per child

Please be aware that the St. Edmund Catholic School administration reviews each registration packet.
 

Application Procedures for New Students

• Families must complete the online St. Edmund Application for Admission Consideration and provide the following information:
  • Most Recent Report Card from Current School
  • Unofficial Transcript of Grades
  • Most Recent Standardized Test Scores
  • Discipline Report
  • Attendance Record for Current School Year
  • Current Immunization Records
  • Education Evaluation or Medical Assessment (if applicable)
  • Copy of Individual Education Plan (IEP) (if applicable)
  • Copy of 504 Individual Accommodation Plan (IAP) (if applicable)
  • Copy of Individual Needs Plan (non-public school plan) (INP) (if applicable)
  • Guardianship (if applicable)
• Please be advised that the St. Edmund Catholic School administration reviews each application packet once all required documentation has been received.
• An interview will be scheduled after receipt of the completed application and required documents.
• Homeschool programs that students have been enrolled in must be state-approved programs or accredited programs. Applicants must take a placement test. Acceptance is contingent upon a review of the placement test. The cost of the placement test is the responsibility of the parents/guardians (required by the Diocese of Lafayette).
• Some students may be required to take a placement test based on previous academic performance.
