A gift of cash (personal check, cashier’s check, money order, or personal credit card) received by St. Edmund Catholic School is spent during the fiscal year and for the purpose intended by the donor. Gifting areas to consider:
St. Edmund Catholic School houses 2 libraries. One library is located in the Elementary building and one in the high school. Each library is equipped with age appropriate reading materials along with several computers. Computers are used for Accelerated Reader Program and educational research by students.
Each classroom is set up with teacher/student presentation stations. Over 75% of the classrooms have Promethean Interactive Boards. Those classrooms without interactive boards are equipped with projectors for teacher/student presentations. Elementary classrooms currently have computer pods with up to 6 workstations per room. There are 2 computers-on-wheels carts available for students in middle school grades. 2016-2017 school year, St. Edmund introduced a 1 to 1 initiative for students in grades 10-12. These students will have the opportunity to participate in a tablet lease/purchase program.
The Building Fund was created to generate supplemental funds for the multipurpose facility recently built.
Available funds are then dispersed among applicants based on need. You may designate your funds to a specific family if desired.
To receive assistance families must complete form located under ADMISSIONS/ FINANCIAL AID.
The endowment fund was established by former St. Anthony Pastor Msgr. Harry Benefiel to benefit St. Edmund Catholic School. A portion of the foundation's interest is utilized to subsidize math and science teachers.
The endowment trust fund was established for the future of St. Edmund Catholic School. Only the interest generated from the fund can be spent. The fund was established to help fund teacher salaries, financial aid, capital projects, etc.
Deferred or planned gifts are placed in the Foundation. These gifts may include a bequest in a will, a charitable remainder trust, a gift annuity, a gift of real estate, a gift through a retirement plan designation, or a gift of life insurance. You should consult your financial advisor or insurance agent to determine the tax advantages of these options.
